About Me
About Me:
I live in Graz and work as a Clinical Psychologist. Originally from Australia, I bring a bilingual perspective (English/German) and a deep personal understanding of the challenges involved in building a life in a new culture.
My journey in the psychosocial field began in 2013, involving various projects with refugees and migrants. Since then, my professional experience has expanded to include supporting adults, children, and families through complex life situations. I have worked in counseling (Association Omega, Mega Transcultural Platform), within the Austrian Child Welfare System and Family Support Service, and in Clinical Psychological Diagnostics.
I completed my Master's degree in Psychology with distinction at the University of Graz, specializing in Educational Psychology, followed by training as a Clinical Psychologist (2019). I have also completed the curriculum in Child, Youth, and Family Psychology. Additionally, my background includes working as a scientific associate at the University of Graz and Med-Uni Graz, as well as experience in adult education and language teaching.
My therapeutic approach is integrative and trauma-informed. I have completed the Psychotherapeutic Propädeutikum and advanced training in Systemic Family Therapy, complemented by training in CBT. I also draw on methods such as EMDR, Brainspotting, and New Authority (Neue Autorität). Currently, I am deepening my practice through training in Internal Family Systems (IFS).
Above all, it is important to me to create a non-judgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and safe—in the language that feels most natural to you.
